First formed in Austin, Texas and now based in their hometown of Houston, Hill Country Jane has long been a tenacious presence on the Texas/Red Dirt Music scene. Upon the release of their debut LP, "The Great Charade", the buzz about the band began to grow. Soon after, the exit of a couple members created the perfect opportunity for what was left of HCJ to join forces with some old friends from another Southeast Texas band solidifying the lineup you see today. The guys went straight to work writing what was to be their second full-length album, "Homegrown.” The single from this album, “Southern Sunday,” broke into the Top 50 on the Texas Music Chart and Top 25 on the Texas Regional Radio Report. After taking some time off from their busy booking schedule to explore solo and side projects, the guys are super excited to be back in the studio working on brand new material and getting back out on the road.
